Darius, what’s your opinion about the following complaint some of my less motivated clients run into?
We work together to create a system or set of habits so that follow through is less reliant on motivation. But some find that is not enough. They struggle to get the habit going in the first place.
I find progressive extremism helps, and for some people a short “challenge” with a predefined end point also helps to jump start the new system or set of habits. Yet the root problem some people point out is that they lack the motivation to create or follow their own system in the first place.
I collect wisdom on topics like these from as many people as I can, so any thoughts you have on the matter will be of interest to me.
